The whole school took a vote that was organised and led by the school council to decide on which charity the children  would like to raise money for this Christmas time.

The overwhelming winner was Good Hope Hospital Emergency Department. The majority of children have on some occasion it appears visited the department and were very disappointed by the lack of toys and games available in the childrens play area.

The children therefore decided to design and sell Christmas cards and donate the proceeds to Good Hope Hospital to buy some much needed toys and games for their play area.

Good Hope Hospital were very grateful and appreciative and invited the children along to present the gifts  in person. The School Council got a tour of the Accident and Emergency department and were even allowed to sit in an ambulance.
