Safeguarding
At Holland House Infant School and Nursery, we are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. We recognise that some children may be the victims of neglect, physical, sexual or emotional abuse and all staff are well placed to identify such abuse and respond quickly and effectively. This means that we have a detailed safeguarding policy and procedures in place which we frequently make reference to.
Policy to be added here
Staff at Holland House Infant School and Nursery have annual training with regard to safeguarding and keeping children safe, complimented by regular updates. All newly appointed staff, Governors and volunteers are also thoroughly and appropriately vetted in line with national safer recruitment guidance and regulations. As part of their induction, they are also given sufficient safeguarding training.
